He began his studies in 1934 at the Athens School of Fine Arts. In 1940 he was granted with the Chrysobergeio Reward and the same year before finishing his studies he was proposed for implementation with posters on the subject of Greek-Italin war. He is distinguished for the extent and the character of his searches. Beyond his personal morfoplastic vocabulary, he achieved particularly in woodcut and with traditional techniques established. By his teaching in the ASKT for more than twenty-five years and many students of him, he opened new streets for engraving in our homeland. He has presented his work individually (Sarla
