BIOGRAPHY

He studied initially free drawing close to Th. Aparti and afterwards in the Architectural Faculty of EMP. Later on he did postgraduate studies of architecture in New Columbia University (1952-1953) and afterwards painting and stage design in Slade University College of London (1953-1955) where he also taught as a professor.

He has presented his work individually (Redfern Gallery London 1959, 1961, Molton Gallery London 1959, 1961, Molton Gallery London 1963, Galerie Semiha Huber Zurich 1963, Merlin 1964, New Gallery Belfast 1964, Hamilton Gallery London 1965, Galleria del Naviglio Milan 1965, Galerie Obere Zaune Zurich 1967, New Art Center London 1968, Anely juda Fine Art London 1968, Victoria and Albert Museum London 1969, Zoumpoulaki 1975, 1976, 1979, 1981, 1995, Décor Galery London 1979, Welsh Arts Council Oriel Gallery Cardiff Wales 1980, Relics Thessalonica 1995, Institution of Greek Culture London 1996, Astrolavos 1996 etc.) and in group exhibitions as well.

Alongside with painting he is one from the more important stage designers in international level. He drew important scenery creations for the theatre, the ballet, the cinema, as well as suits. Later on he gave accent in the architecture of scenic space and in the realistic output of suits.
