Painter and sculptor, G. Gaitis began his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Athens. In 1954 he continued his studies in Paris at the Grande Chaumiere Academy. He worked both in Paris and Athens and was the creator of a personal artistic language. After wandering in the climate of expressionistic tendencies and courtship of the removal came in human form which he adopted as the primary means of expression. Through the groups and the repetition, the figures and the problematic space, he expresses his views of modern world. In this way he shows the myth of the generation with the imposition of quantity and the role of advertising, the domination of the masses and man without a face of his own.
