Special Information for the Artist
Κostas Efimidis was born in 1962. Since 1993, he lives and works in Thessaloniki. He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts and member of S.K.E.T.V.E. His name is recorded in the "Atlas of the Greek Diaspora" as an important representative of the artists of Greek descent. One of the greatest works that he painted in oil on canvas in 2002 "The Battle of Alexander at Issus" (dimensions 3.5 x 27 meters) is located in Hall Club Officers of the Third Army Corps of Thessaloniki. In the same area is the table "Battle with the Italians in 1940" (2003, dimensions 2.60 x 3.60 m). His works can be found in the Municipal Gallery of Thessaloniki, Drama, Art Gallery, as well as public and private collections.
