Special Information for the Artist
She studied painting under K. Iliadis at his workshop from 1952 to 1958. Her early works around 1960 move within the limits of the abstractive expressionism. In 1970 she presented a three-dimensional series of compostitions on Plexiglas. In 1974 she attended lessons on information technology and grasped the opportunity to comment in her own way the intimidating disposition of modern technological society. In her "Seiraikes Structures" on paper or clout she uses pencil, color, thread and every kind of materials. After 1980 she moves in a new phase of plastic quests during which the figures arising from the "Seiraikes Structures" constitute the structure itself. In 1986 she presented the "Derivatives", transparent, tulle and triangularly clouts.
