Special Information for the Artist
A self-instructive artist. He collaborated since 1947 with magazines and newspapers. As a political caricaturist he was presented in 1951 in the newspaper ‘Athinaiki’. Later on he collaborated with other newspapers such as “Macedonia” and “Vradini’ where he became permanent caricaturist.
He has presented his work in retrospective exhibition (Mylos, Thessaloniki 1994) and has participated in many Pan-Hellenic caricatures exhibitions as well as in international ones. He was rewarded in 1974 from the Television as caricaturist of the year. He was also honoured with the reward of Institution Botsi. He is member of EETE, ESIA and Greek Caricaturists Union.
