Special Information for the Artist
He was born in Kythira (Greece). He studied in Paris, at the “Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts” (Fine Arts, Etching, and Lithography).
In 1984 he was awarded the Prix des foundations, Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts, Paris (lithography).
In 1991 he travelled to U.S. where Vodka Absolut uses his painting for their advertising campaign.
In 1994 he represented Greece in the International Art Festival in Cagne sur Mer (France).
In 1998, he was awarded the Athens Academy first Prize for Artists under 40 years old.
In 2000-1 he worked as Invited Artist at Princeton University, USA.
