He studied at ATHENS SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS (1983-1988). From its first appearances, his work acquired an interesting place in Greek figurative space. Two big thematic units of his work were presented in individual and group exhibitions called, Kapnologio and “about fishery”. The subject of his work functions figuratively, often indeed with philosophical extensions, extending the content and the possibilities of communication with the spectator. He belongs in the second generation of Greek artists that deliver not conventional forms of figurative expression, with particular stressed the mental or conceptual dimension in the development of his work.
He has presented his work in individual exhibitions (Artio 1988, 1990, 1992, 1995, 1998, Redmann Gallery Berlin
1991, Space of Art H 1995, Tickon Copenhag en-cultural Capital of Europe 1996 , Foka Thessaloniki 1998) and has participated in many group exhibitions as well. He teaches from 1991 as lecturer and from 1995 as helping professor at t he ATHENS SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS.
