Special Information for the Artist
Born in Lixouri of Kefalonia, in 1964.
She studied painting at the School of Fine Arts (1986-1991), with teachers P. Tetsis and D. Kokkinidis. Parallel, she attended sculpture near Th. Panourgia (1989-1991). She continued undergraduate studies at the Universidad Autonoma of Barcelona, taught by A. Nogue.
Using acrylic and mixed media. Prefers particularly in her last work, the human form in a plain background. Her works are distinguished by color intensity and efficiency of the noun.
She has presented her work in solo exhibitions:

• Cultural Centre "Pati Llimona", Barcelona, 1994
and has taken part in group:
• "A. Tassos", Piraeus, 1989
• Report Kefalonia and Ithaca Artists, Argostoli, 1989, 1990
• Graduates of the School of Fine Arts '90-'91, etc.
In 1996, she founded the artist-band "Anoixis". Collaborates with the Dutch cultural institution "Sfera" to illustrate artistic forms. She also dealt with set design and painting. Teaches in secondary schools. She is a member of EETE (Chamber of Fine Arts).
