BIOGRAPHY

He was born in Potamos of Corfu, in 1856 and died in Athens, in 1932.

He studied painting in Marseilles, in Florence and the Accademia di San Luca in Rome, where he remained for fifteen years.

In 1895 he returned to Corfu, where he founded a school of painting. In 1900 he was appointed professor at  the School of Fine Arts, succeeding Vincent Lanza and remained in that position until 1928, when he left due to his age.

Although he left many oil paintings, landscape painting with watercolors was his speciality.
