Special Information for the Artist
She was born in Istanbul, where she started attending painting classes with the artist Tatiana Grigoriadis.
In 1975 she settled permanently in Athens. She trained at the workshop of Giannis Persakis and after five years of study, she became a founding member of the "Workshop of Seven Women". The works produced by the Workshop were presented for the first time Bouzianis galleries.
Her first solo exhibition was at the DADA Gallery, in 1986. Later she took part in the events “Cristalia 86-Tower Doukissis Plakenteias”. There followed the solo exhibition at the Antinor gallery and group exhibitions in EST galleries and showroom in Liberty Park in October 1996. She recently launched a collection of her work in traditional Greek costumes at the International Congress of Dora Strato-DOLT.
