Special Information for the Artist
Rena Avagianou was born in Athens, where she currently lives and works.
1993-1998: She studied painting in the Fine Arts School of Athens under the supervision of professor D. Kokkinidis and engraving under the supervision of professor G. Milios.
She graduated in 1999.
1984-1989: She studied Architecture at the Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki. She graduated in 1991.
1993: She followed a six-month post-graduate seminar organized by the Greek centre of Design (EOMMEX).

Employment History
Since 2000 she was appointed as Teacher of Painting and Visual Arts in the Secondary Education System (Gymnasium and Lyceum).
During 1997-2000 she was an instructor of Fine Arts in private educational organizations.
During 1989-1997 she was employed as an architect and as industrial designer in the private sector.
She has provided original art work for the brand Sigmatropic: " Ours at Least, (March 2007) and the brand "Dark outside" (September 2007) as well as posters of the same band.
