Special Information for the Artist
Born in Athens and raised in Psachna of Evia. She attended drawing lessons - painting at the Arts Center of Evia and at the workshop of Nicholas Stefos in Athens. In 1997 she entered the University of Biological Sciences in Camerino, Italy. In 2000 she began studies at the Department of Fine and Decorative Arts, National University of Arts "Nicolae Grigorescu" in Bucharest, Romania, from where she received a Degree in Painting under Professor Dr. Balescu Catalin. She continued graduate studies with Professor Dr. Anghel Gheorghe and in 2008 she received her PhD under Professor Dr. Stendl Ioan Ernest. She participated in conferences, seminars and university lectures. Since 2008, she works in Athens as a Professor of Fine Arts in IEK of OAED in Galatsi. Her works have been presented so far in five solo exhibitions and many group exhibitions and art festivals in Greece and abroad. Along with the visual arts she also occupies her time with writing prose and poetry for which she has been awarded with many honors. She is a member of the Cultural Association of Artists and Friends of Evian Arts Centre, voluntary non-governmental organization City Action of Patra and founding member of the Association of New City of Messapion.
