Special Information for the Artist
He lived in Paris between 1957 and 1961, while from 1968 to 1970 was in Berlin with a scholarship from the German State. Then, he divided his time between Athens and Europe. He held solo exhibitions in Greece and abroad (Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Turin, Geneva), and participated in important group exhibitions in Europe. Akrithakis worked on book illustration, stage design and design. He died on September 19, 1994 as a result of a cardiac arrest.
