Special Information for the Artist
He was born in Athens in 1946. He studied painting in ATI (1966-1969) and in the preparatory section of the Athens School of Fine Arts. He deals essentially with hagiography and has illustrated many churches in Greece (Athens: St. Anastasia of Perissos, Piraeus: Odigitria and St. Marina etc.) and also in England and USA. In his secular work, which is characterized of its byzantine style, he is mainly inspired by agricultural themes from the Greek countryside. He is a member of EETE (Chamber of Fine Arts).
