Chinoiserie
European imitation of Chinese, or sometimes more generally eastern, drawings and forms. Although was already common since 1670, its spread is mainly associated with the Rococo time. Its scope was broad, by including architecture, sculpture and painting room decor, furniture, silverware and porcelain manufacturing.
