Rajasthan, miniatures of Rajasthan
A certain type of art that flourished from the mid 16th century to early 19th century in the courts of Rajastan, in Northwestern India. Under the influence of Mongols (after 17th century), the miniatures of Rajasthan include illustrations of religious works (such as pastoral narrations of love of Krishna and Radha), hunting scenes, musical paintings (ragamala) etc.
