A company which organizes exhibitions and was founded in 1913, in contrast to the New English Art Club, that it was said to have become conventional and academic. Its first president was H. Guilmant. Both “vortisistes” and the painters of the Camden Town Group attended its exhibitions. In the interwar period, celebrities such as R. Fry, P. Nash, D. Grant and Vanessa Bell have been members.
