Mound Builders
A prehistoric culture of south-east of the United States. Its name comes from a series of massive and earthen buildings at various locations of the states such as Arkansas, Ohio, Mississippi and Alabama. These buildings include tapered, terraced or flat on the top funeral mounds and mounds that form the outline of the shape of an animal. The sculptures by stone (some of the remarkable of the pre-Columbian North America) and the pipes with the shape of animal are the most important archaeological discoveries of these cultures.
