Plains Indian Art
The art of the Indians, who inhabited the extensive lowland between of the Rocky Mountains and the Mississippi. The art of all these tribes is characterized by a single style and includes clothes by suede or buffalo’s leather, decorated by wings or painted designs (sometimes abstract and sometimes figures of animals that are assigned realistically).
