Picturesque
A term used in the 18th and 19th century (in cycles of romantic especially) to denote a type of landscape (for example, those of N. Poussin, Claude of Laurain and S. Rosa) characterized by the presence of rocks, debris or even a general point of "disorder" and roughness.
