Venice, (School of Venice)
School of Italian painters that flourished in the 16th and 18th century. In the 16th century, the School of Venice was developed under the influence of the School of Padua and Antonela da Messina, who introduced in Italy the technique of Van IMG in oil painting. Characteristic of Venetian art was the rich and "painting" using of color. In large figures are included initially the families of Bellini and Vivarini, then Jortzone and Titsiano and later Tintoretto and Veronese. In the 18th century, decorative art of Tiepolo and the tables of Kanaleto and Guardi revived and renewed the Venetian painting.
