Jack of Diamonds
A group of young Russian artists who were inspired by the artistic developments in Paris of the time and rebelled against the School of Fine Arts in Moscow in 1909. Led by Larionov, staged a first exposure with the latest creations of the Franco-Russian art in 1910. Exhibitions that used the name Jack of Diamonds continued to be in Moscow until 1922. Already, however, after the first exhibition, Larionov had separated his position from the group, which gradually identified with the painters of the Russian School of Paris and the Russian Futurists.
